1.2 This policy operates in conjunction with HU London LTD’s Terms and Conditions, Refund & Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy, forming part of the overall contractual agreement between the Company and the customer (“Client”).
1.3 By placing an order or completing a payment on our website, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Payment & Delivery Policy in full.
2. PAYMENT INFORMATION
2.1 All prices listed on www.hu-london.co.uk are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP / £).
2.2 Prices displayed include all applicable taxes under HU London LTD’s current tax status. At the time of this policy’s publication, HU London LTD is not VAT registered. Delivery fees are excluded unless otherwise stated during checkout.
2.3 Accepted payment methods include all major credit and debit cards (processed securely via Stripe), PayPal, Apple Pay, and other verified electronic methods supported by Shopify’s checkout system.
2.4 Bank transfers or alternative payment methods may be accepted only by prior written agreement and after verification by HU London LTD.
3. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND AUTHORISATION
3.1 Payment is processed at the time of order confirmation and authorisation by the payment gateway provider. The acceptance of payment does not automatically constitute order acceptance if stock or fraud verification issues arise.
3.2 All payments are securely handled through encrypted connections (SSL) and compliant with PCI-DSS standards. HU London LTD does not store or access customers’ full card details.
3.3 The Company reserves the right to request additional verification, such as identity confirmation or billing address validation, where fraudulent or suspicious transactions are detected.
3.4 Failure to provide requested documentation may result in order cancellation or permanent account suspension.
4. FRAUD PREVENTION AND DISPUTES
4.1 HU London LTD maintains anti-fraud protocols, including automated filters, manual reviews, and collaboration with payment processors to prevent unauthorised use or chargeback abuse.
4.2 Any transaction deemed fraudulent will be cancelled, and relevant authorities may be notified.
4.3 In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, the customer must cooperate by providing all required evidence. HU London LTD reserves the right to contest chargebacks with proof of shipment, delivery confirmation, and signed receipt or tracking logs.
4.4 If a chargeback is resolved in the customer’s favour but subsequent investigation reveals abuse or misrepresentation, HU London LTD reserves the right to recover funds through legal action and may permanently restrict the customer’s access to the website.
5. TAXES AND FEES
5.1 At present, HU London LTD is not VAT registered. All product prices displayed are final and inclusive of any applicable charges.
5.2 Should VAT registration occur in the future, prices and invoices will be updated accordingly, and all customers will be notified via the website.
5.3 For future international orders, customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or local VAT charges unless otherwise specified at checkout.
6. INVOICING AND DOCUMENTATION
6.1 All invoices are issued electronically and sent to the email address provided during checkout. Invoices include order details, pricing breakdowns, and delivery charges.
6.2 Any request for invoice corrections must be submitted within 14 days of issuance; after that period, only legally required adjustments will be processed.
7. DELIVERY POLICY
7.1 HU London LTD currently delivers exclusively within the United Kingdom using EVRI as its official logistics partner.
7.2 Orders are typically dispatched within one working day following payment confirmation. Estimated delivery times are between 1 and 3 working days, depending on location and EVRI’s service level. These times are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery commitments.
7.3 Delivery charges are clearly displayed during checkout and vary based on product weight, delivery method, and location. Promotions offering free delivery will be explicitly stated on product or checkout pages.
7.4 International deliveries may be introduced in the future, with separate conditions and costs communicated clearly prior to checkout.
8. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND RISK
8.1 Title to the goods transfers to the customer once full payment has been received and confirmed by HU London LTD.
8.2 Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon collection of the parcel by the courier (EVRI). Once the goods are handed to the courier, HU London LTD is no longer liable for delays, damage, or loss unless the delivery was insured at the customer’s expense or the Company is proven negligent in packaging.
9. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND PROOF
9.1 Proof of delivery is provided through EVRI tracking information, delivery confirmations, photos (where available), or signature upon receipt.
9.2 If the courier marks the parcel as delivered (including safe place delivery or neighbour receipt), HU London LTD considers the delivery completed under EVRI’s delivery standards.
9.3 Claims for undelivered orders must be made in writing to contact@hu-london.co.uk within seven working days from the indicated delivery date.
10. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH
10.1 Customers may request cancellation prior to dispatch by emailing contact@hu-london.co.uk. Cancellation requests are subject to approval if the order has not yet been shipped.
10.2 If cancellation is accepted, any refund will be processed according to HU London LTD’s Refund & Returns Policy within 14 calendar days.
11. DELAYED, DAMAGED OR LOST PARCELS
11.1 HU London LTD is not responsible for courier delays, including but not limited to operational disruptions, strikes, adverse weather, or system errors.
11.2 Any parcel reported as lost will be investigated with EVRI. Replacement or refund decisions are made after the investigation is completed and only if EVRI confirms the parcel as lost.
11.3 For damaged products, customers must notify HU London LTD within 48 hours of receipt with photo evidence. The Company will then decide whether to replace, refund or issue a store credit.
12. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
12.1 All customers agree to contact HU London LTD to resolve any payment or delivery dispute before initiating a chargeback.
12.2 The Company retains all rights to challenge chargebacks and provide full proof of order confirmation, payment, shipment and delivery.

13. FORCE MAJEURE
13.1 HU London LTD shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver arising from force majeure events, including natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, transport blockages or governmental actions beyond reasonable control.
